here's an interesting perspective
I sleep with a knife under my pillow. If anyone enters my home without permission, I will assume my life is in mortal danger and therefore I will eat their fucking souls.
which was stupid because
a) he'd moved to a little village full of pensioners;
b) until his wife brought all the rest of their belongings down, he was sleeping on an airbed.
But I would if I felt threatened.
Like, if I said right now that I am going to KILL YOU WITH A BAZOOKA, would that work?
But this is all conjecture; I've only ever had one run in with a man who claimed to own a bazooka and he was quite a nice chap.
i didn't get that from the video... i agree with your points though
why couldn't she use a baseball bat or something?
you're sealing your own fate when you chuck a chair through someone's window in a country like America
"Jackson told the 911 dispatcher that the man was screaming and threatening to hurt her.
"They need to hurry. He's going to break this thing open. When he does, I'll have to kill him and I don't want to kill him," Jackson said during the 911 call.
For nearly 10 minutes the man continued banging at the door and yelling profanities, threatening the woman.
"I can hear him banging the doors and yelling at her. I was scared for her," said Brenda Hart, a Lincoln County 911 dispatch who was on the phone with Jackson during the incident."
It was his responsibility not to act like a drunken, thuggish buffoon. He broke the social compact and paid the necessary price. Fuck him.
it's not in the video.
If you broke into my home, I should be allowed to shoot you down, shoot you right in the face, like the lousy rat bastard you are.
I don't see that he didn't know what he was doing, and maybe he should have been more cautious, I'd be willing to bet that Oklahoma (and rural Oklahoma in particular) has some of the highest per capita rates of gun ownership in the US.
Essentially I'd have done what she did I reckon.
carry a small sidearm with them while they busy themselves with various concerns.
but you know what goes up? tragic accidents like a 6-year-old shooting his father's pregnant mistress in the back of the head while she sleeps (true story)
It's the responsibility of the parents to keep the guns out of the way of the child.
Nine people are killed on British roads each year. Should we therefore ban cars?
but you also didn't answer my question
for two people to operate the same gun. Mustery solved!
58 kg, air cooled, bolt-fed gun with a closed bolt short-recoil principle necessitating two operators: One to fire the weapon and one to "feed" rounds into the gun.
