Hey ho peeps. Just wondering what they are like in your town; good, shit or non-existant. Do tell.
Or the thread won't make any sense.
Not market research as i won't actually use the info anywhere. i just wat to hear if any are particular good or bad. i might have even done a few so if people think they are shit then i'd like to hear about it.
they're not bad, also a few real Christmas trees with lights on the tops of buildings but not sure if they are owned by the shops. Turned on by the mighty Eamon Holmes.
I like them.
Same ones they've had as long as i've been alive.
Tacky, dated and colourful - I love them
though the lights on the trees in St Andrews Square and Princes St Gardens are nice.
I must say that i am looking forward to getting through to the german markets to drink some mulled wine and be all civilised :)
They do look nice.
Biggleswade - dunno yet, will find out tonight. Probably the same giant snowflake on one of the flagpoles and santa and his sleigh on the other and loads of mulitcoloured streams of lights everywhere.
Good christmas trees by the Clocktower, with a beautiful snow effect, and a similar but slightly less good one on Orton Square. Some nice lights along the market place. Town Hall is lit up like something out of Home Alone, it's awesome; and the square has three montages as it does every year - Wind in the Willows (based on the EH Shepard illustrations, for purists) and Paddington Bear... they all move! It was Wallace and Gromit a few years ago. And a nice nativity in a hut. With a bagpipe player. INTERESTING.
If we're really lucky, Bamnan will take some pictures of Rushden for us!
