The end of free banking
Halifax are changing account conditions so you have to pay £1 (50p if staff member) every day you are in an authorised overdraft. This seems to be a ruse to get you to switch to a paid for account for £5.
Now it's not the cash as such it's the principle. They lose billions in the constant quest for 'sell, sell, sell' and even though they are now supposed to be owned by the government we get these 'back door charges' to recoup their f___ ups
Why is Gordon Brown allowing this?
