Dappy from N'dubs congratulating Martha Wainwright on writing that Roadrage song!
'The rest need a slap'
that I've actually turned over to watching a film with John Travolta AND Hugh Jackman in it :(
amazing scenes x 2
His debut album is actually great. This is probably the best episode this series aside from the Skinner one. Freeman would make a good permanent host.
Wojtek Godzisz plays all the time in London though, I don't think he was really washed up enough to go on there. Maybe I was just too much of a Symposium fan...
I wasn't even young when they were famous. I could get (just still illegally) served at the bar at their gigs and everything!
I remember they had a tiny guitarist who looked about 12. It was good fun.
I just remember us being surprised when we finally saw them. This would have been summer 1997ish in the MDH at Manchester Uni.
Wow, not heard anyone refer to it as the MDH for years. So much better than 'Academy II'.
his album launch party at the 100 club was pretty rammed.
Supposedly the next time Dappy is on the show he will be in a team with Mike Tyson and John Leslie.
I need to do some catching up
that I knew how to pronounce 'Wojtek Godzisz' properly.
was he on there as a guest or as a mystery line-up guy? (probably a stupid question!)
Dappy = the worst spokes person ever for the current uk garage scene! Completely unfunny, un aware of irony/sarcasm (when Phil walked off) and as for the Martha Wainwright, catatonia mix up (massive cringe). It appears to me that these people don’t ever really operate outside of their music scene.
Best line tho, was when Phil said tell us Dappy because we are white and middle class and then that dude from the in-betweeners went, so is dappy. Hahahah burn!
