what are my options?
There are lots of other things out there.
Sony do a decent range.
I don't like having to replace said ipod every year because its generally a piece of shit. Kind of bored of being left high and dry without an mp3 player like this. For the 3rd time in about 6 years.
Apple products are for fruits. I'm seeing the light (again) on personal computing.
But the batteries always lose it after 18 months or so, no matter what device you buy.
I use my Sony Walkman phone.
my first ipod was dying because of the battery. I shot it in the head when I dropped it down the escalators at waterloo station though :( But the other two I've owned have died within weeks of the warranty running out.
seeing an iphone in full breaking glory has kind of put me off buying a combined device.
ARG so confused.
"about" 2. ;-)
What is that little image of?
its probably my life's major acomplishment.
8.8 out of 10
There doesn't appear to be many options for somone who wants 60+ gb of space. Like me.
I wish they still made the non colour ipods with the backlight :( I really don't need anything else.
price, size, if you need video etc
Sony mp3 players are unreliable pieces of shit with Sony's famously turd customer service
i had a Creative for a couple of years and it was ok
for my next trick, i'll probably get a Cowon or maybe a Samsung
good luck with that. i've resigned myself to getting a 16GB even though I WANT MOAR
...really isn't much else if you want a large capacity. The Microsoft Zune now goes up to 120gb, though not sure how good/bad it is or how it compares price wise, if I was looking to get a new player I would look into it. The only other option you have is one of those Archos video players or similar, which are more bigger and more expensive and probably do loads of things you don't want.
It's an ipod for you, unless you want an imported Zune or an old reconditioned Zen. Neither of which I can advise.
for at least 5 years, maybe 6.
it still has a battery life of 15-20 odd hours, fair enough it's only 1gb of space but thats plenty and all you have to do is switch it around whenever. also with it essentially being a usb stick you can recharge it wherever theres a computer. and you dont have to sync it with pissing itunes.
i loves it.
what I really want is a standalone music player with large capacity. there's absoloutely no need for an mp3 player to have a colour screen.
Looks great, tiny, perfect sound, perfect sound recording, good radio reception buy it
