i hope to snare a husband this way instead
I need more cake in my life
but some people are.
i like to give people a fair chance. but there are some people who just seem to get less and less interesting the more you get to know them
In the dead of night, even the most insipid characters would have an interesting stream of thought.
because obviously if you can say that someone's interesting on grounds of one specific trait then that same logic says they're uninteresting
There's interesting traits in everyone. They may be dislikable scumsbags, noxious wankers or drippy deadpans......but if you observed them for 24 hours, the minutiae and contemplative moments would provide a spark.
It's the things that people get up to, things they're involved in, things that they create that we find interesting, rather than the actual person. People don't differ very much when you take away all that nonsense do they? That was my point, really. Not a very interesting one either hahahaha excuse the pun.
the things people get up to, are involved in and create are just products of who they are?
Plus, what people get up to, are involved in and create do not necessarily reflect all of their thoughts and ideas. A good conversation with a person I find interesting is about ideas, not what they've done or what they do.
Mike Leigh has spent his career scoping the ordinary nature of individuals and elevating it to high art. You havn't got the empathetic nature to realise that even the most minimal mannerisms in a person can be arresting, engaging, prepossessing.
Get out of this reeking fug. It's Crayola Philosophy.
i can't hear you through the layers of free money i've sellotaped to my head. BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ANYWHERE ELSE TO PUT IT.
i did love your generalisations though, what was it, ema scrounging kids with dole scrounging single parents? wonderful
poor chris :(
you just don't see enough of that these days.
although i've never seen any evidence to back this up
