although tickets were getting fairly short a few weeks back so dunno if there'll be any on the door. They open at 7 so it may be worth getting there early.
well, the whole world of the tiny edinburgh gig "scene".
I know the belle angele and the liquid room did, but the Venue was just lost to property redevelopment, no?
but it seems to be sold out. I should've manned up and bought one for myself last month.
i hope it's not packed. sneakyz gets so hot and claustrophobic and ARGH.
i know i'm going to forget it.
Some knobber who’s name is not important supported Palo (Noughties Finley Quaye) Nuitini is Playing an “Industry Showcase” coz he signed to universal and will be as big as Blunt Morrison next year. No doubt it will be awful singer-songwriter pish peddled out for the masses but will be a good place to heckle the wee tit after a couple in the Grassmarket.
Bannermans has a couple of band’s that play every night but be warned!! that it might be god-awful bands but you might get lucky
Enjoy your stay!
DON'T FORGET YOUR TICKET.
If so any good?
Just take a left at the bottom of Blair Street at the top of Tron Square
the outsider on george IV bridge is awesome (more formal, but not super expensive or anything). The 'A Room In...' restaurants are lovely as well, and do BYOB, which is always a bonus. 'A Room In The Town' is my favourite. Edinburgh has more restaurants per capita than any other euorpean city, so there's no shortage :)
Oh maison bleu is good as well, forgot about that. Cheers knightboat, as much as i enjoy a night in bannermans i ain't gonna eat there, Didn't even know you could.
As is the grain store, which is next door(ish). I'd have thought booking would be advisable for both...
I thought it was a pre-gig drink??
Nah I would not eat anything from there mate!
