Can't help but laugh, little fucker.
In the midst of the terrible logic he's deployed there, he doesn't appear to have noticed that if he has indeed been saving money downloading games for free, he should have enough stashed to buy a new console. You know, if he hasn't already spent the surplus on kebabs and beer like I would've done.
What a maroon.
That said, he's right about the cost of the games. Maybe they shouldn't make the consoles a loss leader so they have to make the games so pricey? :D
that costs £34-£39 as 'pricey' when it gives you at minimum, 20 hours of enjoyment and you can still trade it in afterwards and get half back towards the next game...
People always complain everything's too expensive. You've all already fucked the recording industry in its traditional guise by being pirate cunts, can you at least leave the games industry alone?
I remember when PC games were £40 each when I was 16. It wasn't fun and then luckily the games were few and far between.
I kind of forget about the trading thing, though. CEX started up when we were getting into games so that was pretty cool but then I am OCD enough to like a nice fresh version all boxed and such...
if you're daft/desparate enough to actually pay it. Much like all entertainment stuff, shop around and you generally get it at a fair price, even on launch day.
FIFA 10 was £24.99 + free P&P on Amazon on launch day
for radio one's newsbeat to interview a moron and then publish their words in detail on a bbc website?
What a tool
I'll pass on everybody's regards
No, he hasn't. That's the problem.
picture when that message appeared on the screen.
X-box-blocking reaction videos.
and rightly so
people chip xbox's for a number of reasons and not all of them are to do with piracy.
You need to chip an xbox to install a development OS. Although not officially supported by Microsoft it doesn't stop microsoft from profiting from smaller developers that use this method to develop prototype games before being able to afford a proper dev kit.
couldn't they just have more than one xbox? They're pretty cheap now aren't they, could you use an arcade one for either gaming or developing? Presumably you'd only need one hard-drive?
(sorry, i don't actually know anything about developing, and don't even own an xbox...)
and for buying a 360 in the first place
There's just something funny about this.
