is not a good city.
Liverpool is a good city though.
Liverpool has the mersey and the sea though. maybe this edges it
and no reason for bias, I'd choose manchester, more going on and better people
He walked off and never came back. Tells you all you need to know.
Nottingham bored me
Manchester upholds me
Sheffield & London inspire me
preferred manchester by far.
I've never enjoyed a night in Manchester though. Had loads of great nights in Liverpool.
Just a better location, accent doesn't grate etc.
probably of any city.
i've never felt so intimidated on a night out in my life! I don't get this whole friendly thing...drunk scousers are SHIT scary. They square up to just about anyone for anything.
Oh and it's NOT full of culture. It's a bit tacky if anything.
Places i've been too -
Sheffield - nice, but boring eventually. Fuck all to do really. Small and pointless.
Coventry - desolate. Horrible.
Leeds - just doesn't quite work. It seems like a budget manchester. Can't quite work it out. It's a bit...bland. No charisma at all.
Cardiff - Only place i've ever been approached by a group of tramps IN a cafe as I was eating.
London - Great - just couldn't live there. Drives me mad driving around/generally travelling about it.
was gonna say birmingham's a bit tacky and messy. Apart from the bull ring its a dour dour place.
Glasgow's not bad - but the chavs when drunk are hideous. But the nice people when drunk are amazingly friendly.
Edinburgh = beautiful.
Nottingham - absolute nothing town.
Probably more places, but I can't remember them all.
They are my thoughts, not that anyone will really care. Ho-hum.
with all of this.
this goes for everywhere, duh. All cities have horrible people and lovely people.
I've never, ever felt intimidated on a night out in Liverpool or Manchester. It just depends where you go, how you act, a whole load of variables.
like incredibly friendly. Scottish people when nice and VERY nice.
I always enjoy my time there and it's great for nights out.
oh ye of narrow horizons
manchester? liverpool? who cares about either
They're both good.
Liverpool is not.
That is all.
manchester's music scene is better than liverpool's at the moment...much better
but manchester has alot more going on and is a far better city.
like REALLY annoying.
they remind me alot of people from the north east (the salt of the earth) good sense of humour blah blah. the accent sounds fuckin hot on women aswell.
this should be a reply to twosips
i find it high pitched and annoying. I prefer Geordie's. In fact, I love people from the north-east. I just don't think scousers compare really. Ah well. I am a manc. It's probably inbuilt into me.
as long as everyone agrees Manchester as a city is tresssssssssss better than liverpool
it's well jackson.
it saddens me how little i've travelled around the uk
Liverpool has far more though, in my experience.
Oh, and Liverpool fans are 95% unbelievable cunts. Fact.
Liverpool football fans.
...are miles better than Stoke.
i prefer manchester of the two i guess.
