Don't know much about the smaller, solid body Gretschs. Some of the big hollow bodies are legendary- never played one myself. I have a Gibson 335 that I am going to ham hand to glory some day.

can i ask is the action really high on your gibson? it's very difficult to play when compared to my mat's strat. is that just the way hollowbodys are? i'm considering getting the nut taken down.

I think. I've got an electromatic 5122dc it's pretty much the best thing I own. Gretschs make all other guitars look hideous.
