comes out a week today. Predicted to be the biggest selling thing ever, over $500m in the first week. I dont think theres a better MP game than CoD4, its like crack, and they seem to have improved everything from the first game. Customizable killstreaks, deathstreaks, co-op mode, more perks, host migration.
If theres enough people we could set up DiS deathmatchs on 360/PS3

CoD is the only game I've played where I've been informed exactly how realistic the gun I'm using is and how effective it would be from various ranges and in various scenarios by someone young enough to be my kid. It's fucking weird. It's a videogame: this is the machine gun, it shoots bullets fast. If you need any more detail than that then you're fucking mental.

I just played the game tonight
Very good first impressions. The levels are big, more varied, and generally more insane. Out of the guns that I used, the M4 was still king. Level of customization is waaayy up and local multiplayer has leveling. All in all, this game will consume your life:)

My copy arrived at noon today
Have played the MP for about an hour and a half.
All I have to say is: if you are a veteran of COD4, you are going to love this! Nearly everything has been improved, from the size and layout of the maps in general, to the custom class set-up options, etc etc. Host migration works well enough (maybe 30 seconds between original host leaving and the game resuming?). The Riot Shield is genuinely useful, especially given you can couple it with a shotgun and grenades, and opposing player will actually just run from you like little girls if you charge at them with it. Lots of fun.
