Sour is like a lemon
You really need to step back and take a look at your life.

vinegar is sour, but not bitter at all
beer is bitter, not sour in the slightest, sourness is sharpness, and beer is quite mellow, but still has a bitter aftertaste. totally different.

lemons can be a bit bitter. the rind at least, but vinegar is just sour. your tastebuds are all wrong!

Citrus tends to be bitter, lemons though, are more sour.

citrus is (citric) acid.
Citrus fruits taste sour unless there is enough sugar in them to counteract it.
citrus PEEL is bitter.
Bitter tends to be less so, but more sensitive.
Both are thought to be defence mechanisms, I think: Bitter for poison; sour for spoiled food.
