Do you think "public transport" should be publicly owned and free at point of use (or a nominal standardised charge). Most towns have monopolised bus companies which charges, you could argue, an additional tax on the poor and on an environmentally friendly transport system.

Would you be in favour of such a system? Is it even feasible?
