i think this is a bit of a concern, wouldn't say they're scaremongering at all. why is there no warning sign on the packaging?

I also don't believe that's a real DEFRA poster.

and the local kids have started throwing them at each other!
either it's the "health and safety brigade" banning the use of the bulbs, which need to be disposed of in the same way as fluorescent tube lighting, or they're hazardous and it's the government trying to kill everyone.
"We have some of these bulbs in our home and recently my daughters have been complaining of itchiness for no obvious reason - after reading this am beginning to wonder whether it's the bulbs that are causing the problem."
