Don't even know anything about betting :(
and that you do it all the time.
I can't think of a time I've ever betted on anything. Fuck.
You'll find out a lot just by going to their website
nobody wants to employ a gambler anyway, they're dangerous
It's an unbelieveable piece of piss job.
You really don't need to know anything about betting. I thought you might need some mathematical skills but you don't - the computer does it all for you.
It's just a data entry job really. You get the betting slip, put it through the computer and take the money and then later on when it's quiet (unless the customer's won.. but that's rare)you process them all (ie: type in £1 @ 40/1).
Be prepared to meet ALOT of strange folk! It's quite an experience really and not nearly the worst job i've ever done. I'd imagine it's a bit like working at a Weatherspoons - lots of deeply depressing characters queueing up at the door at 9am with their giros. But equally some very very very funny old geezers.
The interview is absolutely nothing to worry about - just say you like sport and talk about your customer service skills and it's yours.
might be worth asking him for advice?
