for a long weekend - week long break.
answers below / show your working / feel free to discuss today's pooing activity
but Hamburg and Copenhagen were both good for about half a week. you could do both if you wanted a week-long break
both fun places, both pretty in places, both interesting, both do-able without feeling like you've missed loads in half a week
but so does Berlin.
does anyone want to come with me?
I recommend Munich because I was born there, esistnicht?
not too cold
much quick to get there than anywhere else in europe
loads of stuff to do
did you not read the bit where i said i wanted to go somewhere new?
i've been there 3 times. its the best city in europe.
And you didn't follow up with where you'd already been either.
it's in my reply to meths up there. And he knows full well where i have and haven't been.
it's too expensive atm unless you're under 26 in which case you can get into all the main museums and galleries for FREE. Thanks sarko
is in Boston,
but i wouldn't want to spend a weekend there, or indeed, any time at all.
Amazing place, loads of stuff to do whether you want culture, history or nightlife. Especially good at the moment with all the celebrations of 20 years since the wall coming down. Not bad price-wise compared to some of the other European capitals too.
with the celebrations and all.
it's like france, but english.
cities is what i really want i think. There's too many of them though and i can't decide.
beginning of December.
But I really want to go to Barcelona, Berlin and Athens one day. Bruges looks nice too (watch In Bruges).
went there for a day earlier this year. Not sure there's enough there to keep me occupied for a whole holiday though
Why somewhere else?
(with best at the top)
Funny no one is mentioning Paris. I feel vindicated in my claims it is over rated.
Some others to avoid:
also Tallinn is great and can involve a day trip to Helsinki (or the other way round).
I really liked Budapest too.
if you go to belgrade you can have £40 worth of serbian currency i can't change up anywhere
and i think i might
......or for a real treat, why not try my UK Top 5:
