Literally amazing. "I'll be with you with two shakes of a crying baby" :-D
have i just missed this?
I'm slightly worried that the whole thing's just gonna be based around Malcolm now and nobody else is gonna get a look in though
you fuck up."
laugh. As did "Thin White Mugabe"
Is jamie in it? i love that guy
hope jamie's in the next episode, also both the specials are on iplayer
Took a while to get into, but there were some genuinely laugh-out-loud moments.
time to hang up your lady-cocks
I hope Julius Nicholson comes back - the one who unites everybody in a focused hatred.
Utterly, stupendously amazing.
I think there seemingly being a few extra support writers really helped the 'hit ratio' as it was joke after joke after joke. No let ups at all, with great scenes like 'I am bent' and everyone got great lines:
'They didn't quite give me time the fuck the i's and fist the t's as Robert Robertson might say...'
'You've got DoSAC, that's safe. Do you want to go for the treasury young lady?'
'I'm sorry there is no way around it. It's horrible. Like Dover.'
'Yeah [she is good with people] like Kate Thornton. But she's wanted for war crimes...'
I liked Front's character loads too, from the trailers I thought she'd be a push over but she almost seems like the equal to Malcolm. I have a feeling this is going to be some of the best comedy TV our generation is likely to see...
I CANNOT fathom how it's not in the top 10 BBC iPlayer programmes when Russell Howard's BBC 3 show and Merlin both are...
"So I have as much power as the two twats that sit next to Surallan"
Great start, I hope it keeps up to this standard.
but i think its better put across by someone miles more eloquent than myself.
I'm thinking of the focus group from series one
this and the pm resignation special were a perfect way to wind up an evening of west wing watching
but yeah, IAM BENT had me floored. I even paused it for a bit because me and my brother were laughing so much at how SIMPLE YET HILARIOUS it was.
Armando Iannucci is the best thing to happen to British comedy in the last 20 years thread
Can't wait for the next episode and like many others i hope we see Jamie back.
malcolm tucker is not hyped up and tagged as "the next david brent" or something disgusting like that, he's like the shark in jaws, a completely unrelenting bastard machine and trivialising him would drag the whole series into the realm of idiots looking for the next little britain and quoting the best lines ad nauseum...
