do you deliberately slow your walk and defiantly stare in the windscreen at the driver? i do
they're zooming through at 40mph having seen the light go amber about 200 yards away.
if i was to be staring into the windscreen in that situation, it would be in terror, shortly before having all of my limbs broken.
i mean a situation where the light has been red for a while and they don't have the patience to wait for a green.
I tend to stand right on the edge of the kerb and motion as if I'm gonna cross as soon as the red light for cars comes on.
That'll learn 'em.
Or make them swerve to avoid me, resulting in a horrific crash.
smash the windscreen in and bash the driver's head of the steering wheel shouting "RED. MEANS. STOP. MOTHER. FUCKER."
whenever a car speeds by i give them a stare. usually i'm not in that much of a hurry. but it's the GODDAMN PRINCIPLE.
I also block off drivers that have stopped on a crossing/yellow box.
being stationary in a yellow box is fine if you're waiting to turn right. (Highway Code Rule 174 - http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAndTransport/Highwaycode/DG_070332)
Too few folk know that.
