Mine's Vietnam. Drugs, music, heavy weaponry, civilian massacre...it had everything.
Although really it was 20th century Spanish politics so intinsically linked all the causes and consequences were. Definitely the best thing I did there

I have a soft spot for the Spanish - American war as well.
what with the bouncing bombs and comical submarine friendly fire mishaps. The Holocaust was a bit of a downer, tho.

Any war starting with a defenestration and ending with the Peace of Westphalia is alright by me.
Love everything about it, but I won't spoil the ending for anyone.

Hawke and Quiberon Bay, Wolfe and Quebec, the infantry at Minden, Frederick the Great fighting nearly everyone on the continent, Earl of Chatham being a brilliant leader, Rogers' Rangers being heroic and barbaric in equal measure, some French people being beaten a lot.
Thousands of deaths which probably could have been prevented if the aggregate score system was around at the time. (Ok maybe not but I choose to interpret it that way.)
Iceland kicked our arse and destroyed Hull & Grimsby. Justice.
