Attenborough's Life - Ep.2
Just. Wow.
For those who moaned about the bbc's penchant for the old slow-mo - i give you randy bullfrogs. For those of you who moaned about the 'making of' bit at the end - i give you Komodo dragons.
Seriously though, that komodo dragons feature was one of the greatest pieces of wildlife documentary i've ever seen. The dragons were unrelenting in their waiting for the buffalo to die, and then ruthlessly efficient in their consuming of the carcass. There was also some fairly new information relayed, i.e. their venomous bite, and a tough of humanity from the film-makers, when that guy said he wasn't sure he was cut out for filming an animal dying a slow death over a period of days.
Komodo Dragons FTW.
