Help me choose who to vote for.
On 22 June, speaker Michael Martin became the first Speaker since 1695 to be forced from office. The Glasgow North East by-election is finally due to take place on November 12th.

Do I choose SNP (2/1 odds, vs 4/9 for Lab guy) on the basis it's a party party I can broadly identify with and has the most realistic chance of overturning the frustrating Labour stronghold? But the guy's an Opus Dei type, which I'm really not sure I can back. Or do I choose the Green guy, seeing as his party seems most closely aligned with my views? But a vote for him might contribute to an undesired outcome in a marginal seat.
Any thoughts re: the choice between SNP (possible win for a broadly acceptable party over a broadly objectionable one, but possibly a questionable candidate) / Green (more acceptable options to me personally, but no chance of winning)???
