Why, for the love of Christ, are these devices still in general use? I can't think of a simple application that couldn't be easier and more effectively accomplished with an e-mail. In fact, I think I've done this thread before - the last time I found myself reading what was essentially a blank page with the faintest trace of what could possible have been at one point, pertinent information. Or it could have been the last time I spent 25 minutes in front of a machine, yelling tearfully "FUCKING SEND, YOU FUCKING FUCK!"

I want to start a campaign to ban these things forever.
