what a great guy
As if he needs the appreciation from the audience to survive
I'm gonna say a million grams.
is one of the best music books ever. you can get it in most oxfam shops for a quid or 2. i like him. i liked his 'weird' album RUDEBOX rather than the whole early ballads era.
i wish he hadn't done the piece with THE SUN last week mind but hey.
on the other hand, Louie was his friend and mentor and manager and I think they possibly could do a really nice job of it
was he all messed up?
i didn't really notice
Take That shouldn't let him near any of post-reunion stuff or any of their proper tours
maybe I wasn't paying attention properly
but he was singing a bit shitly, and he seemed proper wired during the interview afterwards.
i just thought he was pleased to see us
Probably because I haven't seen Ricky Gervais today, but I've seen Robbie Williams. I said to my mum "I hate him so much I want to kick his head in until they can't even use dental records to identify him."
Although, having said that, I don't mind a few of his songs - I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to some of them, but I wouldn't cringe all the way through them either. It's just the physical entity of Robbie Williams I hate. I can't stomach experiencing anything Ricky Gervais has had a hand in making. So I guess I prefer Robbie. But it's like saying I prefer cancer over AIDS. Tough one. Real tough one.
until I realised he actually is just mentally ill. The whole 'i'm going to hunt for aliens' thing made him seem borderline endearing.
Barlow ftw tho.
Really warm, funny, normal bloke WHO WROTE 'BACK FOR GOOD' FOR CHRISSAKES! And he looks like he gives great hugs.
Glad he ended up getting the last laugh.
He's like our own Paul McCartney, Million Love Songs is better than Back For Good I reckon.
There is something slightly nauseating about him, personally.
It's one of those things I can't put my finger on. Or my fist on. Repeatedly.
There was something a little uneasy about him. His movements were all there but his enthusiasm was questionable. He punctuated the performance with fake praise for the audience. I don't know whether he wants to do this any more. It's surely all for the money?
watched the saturday show though. some good, some bad, some fucking awful. i wish they'd stop putting lukewarm pub singers with bad hair through to the live final and then praising them to the heavens for singing a "proper" song.
