I have no idea what they're going to do with it. Formal meals?
but I already put up the velvet rope on this thread in my previous post.
You went to college?
YOU went to COLLEGE?!?!?!?
Looks like we got a college boy here
Lower North Island Agricultural Polytechnic - class of '04
LNIAP were just a bunch of cocksmokers!! LNICA 4 EVA!
took the subwoofer out of my tractor in '03 so me, Barry and 'Spanners' Watson went over there and dipped their sheep two days before the frosts!
Shite, they couldn't believe it!!!!! :O
sometimes, there is a place for hilarious casual racism :)
before you pelt after them, cock in hand
</APPARENTLY KIWI'S SHAG SHEEP. HA HA HA HA>
Me ashamed now
Of course we do that
i mean, colleges have to spend money on buying books, employing academics, employing non-academic staff, providing bursaries, providing student services and facilities etc etc. moreover, the richer colleges are all pretty old and hence housed in old buildings and hence have to spend tonnes of money on the upkeep and repair of them.
but there's rich and there's Trinity College rich. It IS an old building and they DO need to provide for their 900 students, staff etc, but they're hundreds of millions of pounds rich.
they're only spending the revenue it generates. and they're probably reinvesting some of that to increase their capital.
What are we arguing about exactly? I was just pointing out that Trinity is pretty rich!
(however you care to measure it) than Trinity.
have systems where the richer colleges pay money to the poorer colleges.
