Just thought I'd share it...
I'm going to have to change my route to the train station.
Are Bomb Factory supporting Thomas Truax? If so, I'll see you at the Portland!
We'll be there. In keeping with the DIY spirit we're going to nail people to an upside down crucifix and pluck their heartstrings.
more or less
somebody ought to tell him. i volunteer thewran
hes talking rubbish.
The fact that hes put magus in front of his name indicates that he doesnt see himself as a witch but as someone who is into rank and heirrarchical sort of s*** i.e. he wants to be seen as powerful and potent, and uses a title like this to try to get some.
not if you forget to log in as the right user you're not
"that you cant have male witches"..... tell me, are you the REAL King of the witches?
(well not a human one at any rate ;) )
though I imagine said individual will have father Dougal qualities and will thus vanquish the daemon by reciting names of post-war italian right backs and sprinkling blessed 7-up on the pew
"Fr Dick Healey has branded the occultist "twisted" and plans to report him to the police for practising witchcraft in a church."
...there's a law against that?
"and in he comes chanting and waving around some incense while wearing a dress. You must do something!"
Now, if was Anglican that would be a different matter...
unless you return to past ridiculousnesses.
I suspect that the priest does think there is a law against it though.
But srsly, many churches were actually built on sites which people previous to the christians might have held as spiritually important, and therefore it would quite outrageous if christians then wanted to forbid people from visiting that site and then doing stuff that they wanted to do in their own way (unless its hurting people)
I guess that the priest is actually right though cos this bloke seems instead to be actively targetting christians, so the priest is right in picking up on this guys intent (as stated) as being malevolant.
However considering the malevolance that the christian religeons have had towards that which was there before them and that which is not within their church, i guess he thinks that they're fair game, which i occsionally think too, then i am minded about the falseness of the assumptions of such generalisations as to say that a particular group can be attacked cos of something that some people once did using the same banner...........although the heirarchy and structure of the catholic church can be more safely blamed perhaps.......but its a bit more involved and complicted than what is easily summed in a few words
being mischievious, and playing up to some religoeus fears that, that which their religeon made up, might actually exist and be able to hurt them
i mean it will probably strike a mischievious chord with many and causethem to check out his shop, or whatever, when he opens it.
It could be a wise marketing move.......I've always thought that the marketing world was a bit arcane and murky
"He should be reported to the police. It's as if someone came into your home and performed some sort of magic trick without your permission."
if someone wandered in and pulled a rabbit out of my teapot.
A complete fucking numpty twice as old as old enough to know better who's probably going to convert some insecure lonely people to his daft cult of "lookatmee" plots some irrational old bollocks and gets in a regional rag.
ive just read the comments....the final comment sums it up, "shouldn't this be in viz"
