Masterchef: "I want a good rack, pink and moist."
I don't know that I really heard much else on Masterchef after Greg made this potty-mouthed announcement.
Anyway no one seems to be particularly good this week, but I'm glad Mr. "I'm doing it all for my mum" got through. He touched the heart strings a bit. Watching them fillet that fish was amazing. How the nerves get to them. I felt sorry for Grant and his great skills with meat going by the wayside.
Is a vanilla-studded roasted pineapple really a 'classic'? It feels like they're stretching it a bit.
On a vaguely related note, apparently that new Luxe place in Spitalfields is another John Torode restaurant. I can see why he didn't keep the Smith of Smithfield naming convention as who'd go to eat at Spital of Spitalfields?
