I love having a seat that looks out onto the North Sea. It's cool.
seems ridiculous. strangely though i have chosen another game that i probably won't enjoy. i don't really like these open world games. i fucking hated fallout 3 because it was so big, it felt like a chore getting anywhere, and crackdown was worse - 5 minutes in it's like "right, that's it, see you later. you can just fuck about in the city for a bit". the effort i have to put in to get anything out of these types of games is against the way i was brought up. i mean, it was run to the right and get the level completed. now it's "open yer GPS system, locate the next event and walk there/drive there/fly there. thats too much like real life.
d'you mean sunrise?
hi sheeldz anyway. it's quite sunny here, but cold i expect. today i have class, then walking a dog, then lunch, then doctor, then a nap and deciding whether i'm going to quit my job tomorrow.
but i love working a night shift and watching the sun set on the sea as i start work. same thing really, just one played backwards.
it was early, mk? :)
yeahyeah, just messing. night shift, eh? that was one thing i loved in the summer getting up at 4am, watching the sunrise over edinburgh. not anymore though, it's pitchy black when i get into work :| tell me it's a good idea to quit, yeah?
i hate that. last year i went months without seeing daylight properly. going to work in the dark and going home in the dark.
i sometimes work nights offshore, 6pm to 6am. darkness becomes me. the world's a strange place at night. infact, the reason i am a posting member here was because of a night shift 2 years ago or there abouts. i was a lurker for years before that.
but yeah, you do. like... when you are in the middle of the sea and the sunsets on the horizon. o.O
but the mist of the fields as i was taking the train into work this morning was cool.
"where's my grass? who's taken away my grass and replaced it with cotton wool?"
anyway, off to popular fiction!
Sunset - Coney island, when i was camping a few weeks ago, i have a better one with a guy out fishing on the jetty, you can just see his silhouette against the sky.. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/photo.php?pid=9133908&op=1&o=global&view=global&subj=588086498&id=556610192
I didn't really want to but it was a present, it was ok - interesting at least. Anyway, there is a chapter on Aberdeen in it (sort of) - I was unaware of Aberdeen's Comorra connections. Not sure if it's in the film.
