have your social lives gone down the drain yet? mine certainly is.
but i'm going to reply in a serious manner nonetheless. this term i have two double modules and most of my dissertation, and i'd quite like to get a first, so i find that i can't spend all of my afternoons in the pub but rather should be spending them in the library which is what i do. so i save a lot of money and will end up very very well read, but obviously also more boring/bored. i've been back for over a month and haven't been out properly even ONCE, whereas back in the carefree days of second year i would go out three-four times a week.
i've had far more of a social life when i've been working full time
also, don't ever, ever take that "little miss adult" tone with me again, or with anyone else for that matter, you're the missy here anyway
"don't judge me, you don't know where i'm from"
happy to help
this is probably something I'll never understand but try me anyway.
wow, do your parents know?
I must say that your English is remarkably good for someone so young.
Semi-burned by both Bammers and GS3.
Look, it's as close to burning as they'll get. Hate-thread starting bitch.
I'm waiting for the missus to come home from work with some fried chicken. I'll be off soon, don't worry.
thats only because im spending my 3rd yr out doing 9:30 til 5:30. What is in line for the disser of doom?
so long as I get up early and put in a 9-5 Uni day Mon-Fri. I'm dissertating too, I daresay it'll get worse when that gets to crunch time. At the moment cool though, get my evenings still, though only go like "out" at the weekend. Like real people really!
not done anything for the last hour and a half or so though. apart from post here. WAY TO GO. i prefer reading/doing work into the evenings rather than start really early in the morning, never been much of a morning person. i don't much rate going out for fridays/saturdays anymore either, but my sense of duty means no going out during the week. so far, at least, keeping in mind that this is only the second week of lectures still.
i'm a fourth year!
but it's my fault really because I'm not making much of an effort. things will get a lot worse in about 6 months though
im on a work placement though. money money.
last night a band stayed at my house, one of whom looked just like Super Hans
he really does look like Super Hans doesn't he?!
You are a cool guy
it's pretty rubbish innit.
i think i've got off rather lucky with only 10,000 words.
30 credits though innit, and i want to impress my supervisor + get a first for my own sake obviously.
Get your life on track, or the Norwegians will sack you right off.
probably the best it was in any year in fact because it was when I knew the most people and had accumulated the most friends.
I'm now studying as a graduate for a medicine degree in four years and (possibly worryingly) I am still maintaining a solid social life. It probably has to end sometime.
Mine seems to be better than ever.
Am I doing it wrong?
of getting pretty drunk every other day this semester started 3 weeks ago.
I'm pretty sure I'll fail massively however.
I'm doing photography though, so can get away with stuff... it's all bullshit, innit?
