you know, like when they have a fully functioning DESK in their bedroom
That'll learn them
Not as much as when someone commandeers DiS to whine about their stupid bullshit.
You knew this would happen.
but considering i'm out early for work (8ish) and late back (after 11) from uni I've only really been 'in-in' for about half an hour.
kitchen work surfaces and a dining table in the dining room.
and a house without a kitchen table sounds plain bizarre
just an empty space?
but if I stuck a table in my kitchen then yes, it would technically fit, but it would make navigating the kitchen a fucking nightmare, and I wouldn't be able to get my bike in and out of the house, so I'll just stick to eating in the dining room if that's ok?
where do you people live?
think about it.
the whole concept of a kitchen is to prepare food in, the whole concept of a dining room is to eat the prepared food in.
i think this is the cause of our miscommunication. the dining room and kitchen are one and the same. and no offence to anyone but a 'dining room' always struck me as a very posh, upper class thing
large enough to comfortably fit a table in would be the 'posh' ones.
'come Julian. let us alight to the dining room'
smaller house. that's where your logic falters
in this thread
'A room or place equipped for cooking'
in the hood, the kitchen is the dining room, dog.
it's actually quite nice having a separate room for eating in to the one we cook in. eating amongst all the dirty pots and pans isn't that nice.
It's legal in this instance.
chop onions and garlic and then fry them up.
then maybe some paprika, mushrooms, sour creamm fresh parsley, bit of salt and pepper, hey presto you got yerself a lovely Stroganoff
ask him to keep an eye on it for a few minutes. then leave the house, with your valuables in a holdall.
when they were about 11??
