i've had my fingers and wallet burnt too many times this year with disappointments, yet i know i've bought some stuff of real quality too.
I'm going to spend the remaining months indulging in old favourites, catching up on the 'too read' pile and gernally setting about not to feel any pressure to keep up with the cutting edge or hyped up 'essential' things.

*Synecdoche, New York and West Wing still count because one is the movie of the year and the other I've already begun.
