just muppets who know nothing about politics being bullied and manipulated into voting a certain way by silly propaganda..

i just saw there, through the beauty of facebook statuses, someone essentially having her arm twisted into voting no by her cousin who was spouting bullshit like 'oh our forefathers died for independence, DON'T THROW IT AWAY'. people still living in 1916. pissing off the rest of europe cos they've got some outmoded idea of independence or 'irishness'. what does independence even mean anymore in a globalised world? you can't just join an organisation like the EU and start pissing around cos you want your independence back...

anyway,i'm no expert on politics but,something seems farcical about the whole thing. a landslide NO is gonna happen, and we're going to be the lepers of the EU again
