Back then, I knew not the damage my consumption caused.
I am sorry.
But we had great times together;

Such wonders we created when the two sparked together
Like Jordan and Pete, but on a piece of bread.
The heat that hovered over both relationships faded
Partly due to over-inflated prices at my local deli
And that documentary wot was on the Beeb about Yellowfin
But I just want you to know that I'll never forget.
Tuna melt; I miss our time together*.
But you'll always be a part of me.

* though truth be told, I sometimes allow myself a sneaky one for old times sake. Like I did just now.
