Two types of squash, red pepper, udon noodles, ginger, chilli, garlic.
I've never actually made a soup myself, always from a can...

And I shall instruct you
something involving rice, something spicy. does such a thing exist?
It didn't really need the rice but it was for a long hike one day up in Scotland and it was perfect.
Well all soups have an onion base, mainly, but I'm allergic to onions so I forgo that bit.
Just fry the onion in some butter, fry anything like garlic, ginger, chilli at this point. Pour on boiling water, add stock cube, add all your chopped up veg. Boil. Blend. At this point add your cooked rice/noddle type stuff.
Just make it up as you go along, pretty much anything works in soup. if you want specific recipes PM me. I'm a soup addict :-)
(Courgette and green chilli would be pretty good with rice)
up to the challenge sailor?
Thanks, tips would be appreciated. Cauliflower will be my next ambitious step.
it was a kind of french onion soup, but without the french onions. I used red onions, port (instead of red wine and brandy) and a fair bit of thyme. It tasted really nice.
