what are the chances.
Naturally, Nick will do well what with it being my birthday and all. but just in case: GO NICK!!!
particularly because I found out that Webber's car stopped last year when the electrics got confused when a subway train passed through directly under the circuit.
I can see Button crashing on the first lap, legging it to the tube station and comandeering a train in the hope he can induce a similar electrics breakdown in Barichello's car.
I'm sure a plan along these lines would have been a key strategy for Renault if Briatore was still in charge.
But, anyhow, well done Nick, 4th is really good!
I gave a little yip when he posted that time.
If Nick is on a light fuel load I'll cry...
and going shorter than anyone else. Gamble, but if there's a safety car at the right time then he (and Vettel) are very well placed to benefit. Fisi and Liuzzi are looking pretty light for the rear half of the grid too.
Nico looks good for a podium if raw pace translates to the track, but it's Lewis' to lose.
Nick has been good all weekend, and so would have expected a top 3 position easy with that fuel load. He hadn't completed sector 1 before Rubens crashed, so I can't say if it would or wouldn't have worked out, but he's been pretty good with quali this year, so it seems likely.
He needs to make up about 3 places at the start to have any chance of points, which isn't likely. That, or a safety car just after his pit stop, again, not likely.
I'm so, so angry about it all.
His car (without fuel) was underweight - he's starting from the back.
Maybe a bit more than three, I'd say.
Who would have thought...
I don't even want to watch this. It's pathetic.
I HATE THIS SPORT. Next year I'm just going to watch MotoGP. There's a reasonable level of competency over there.
I'm really not in the mood for accent jokes now. I just smashed a jar, but it didn't really make me feel any better. I might have to find that torture game someone posted a couple of weeks ago...
And hope for a well timed accident. Kind of unlikely though. bet you anything Kubica gets a top 5 finish, too.
