Better than whatever you like you stupid cunt.
But seriously, I like it.
I was just trying to meet my 'trying to be funny' quota :'(
With their tiny chickens, office parties and hen night prologues? I'll stick with Pizza Hut, thanks.
And they gave me a free pizza.
Free-za is what I live for.
Pizza Express can kiss my grits.
Psht, Alcock's default opinion on everything is "this is shit". Usually, all you have to do is say "No, it's not shit" and then he changes his mind.
Got me riled up it did. It's absolute shite.
file along with subways in the folder marked 'mediocre food places that people rave about for some reason'
doesnt fill you up tho. but that just means you get to eat two
but im all for the chiptole southwest sauce
They seem to work on the idea that you can't make a good sandwich so you may as well just fill it with as many different things you'd normally put on a pizza and with so many sauces in the hope there are enough flavours that you forget you're eating a minute piece of processed cheese on a stale piece of bread.
Pizza Hut is good, especially buffet, especially buffet at ATP
pizza hut would be the next option but that is woooooooeful. Almost as bad as a Wetherspoon's burger.
I'll go to Greggs, thanks.
chicken wings and extra hot peri peri sauce are a match made in heaven.
you could just buy it in a shop?
Chicken, peri-peri sauce and chips... it's a bit expensive for what you get. If you want chicken then just get a two piece and chips from Dixy's.
They wanted to offer me a job. Nandos should have been an indicator of my expectations.
next time we meet, let's not go to a Nandos.
Dry, dry, overpriced, horrendous chicken.
Apart from having to sit next to people I don't know on those long benches. I'm not down with that.
I KNOW ABOUT RESTAURANTS.
but I like Wagamama, I don't think it wants to be hyper-authentic anyway. It's just nice fast food. Plus you can't take the Katsu away from the Japanese: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_curry
If it's any consolation, I once stole one of their bottles of chilli oil. Unfortunately it spilled all over the DVDs I had bought and all now have oily covers. I've had to put nicking a large bottle of Peri Peri on the backburner.
is in a dodgy area, so the 'world foods' aisle is amazing. There's a scotch bonnet and habanero sauce for 49p!
I've always been given a knife and fork at Wagamamas....
The staff usually assume I'll be too retarded to use chopsticks and discreetly slide in some western cutlery.
They're wrong though. I can use use chopsticks just fine, but I can eat my 'fast food' even faster with a fork.
Applies to everything, ever.
some kind of chilli ramen is my default option. Mmmm, noodle soup. And they do have western cutlery as well. The last time I was in a wagamamas, I saw a man using chopsticks in the strangest way ever. I can't fully explain it. He jabbed them straight down into the noodles, and then clamped them together with both hands, and then he'd revolve them around so that the noodles span around the chopsticks, and then delicately manouvre it all into his mouth.
Hot wok express is loads better
but if you don't come too often you can get the £2.99 under 10s meal every time and just say you didn't know it was for under 10s
It justs melts faster and you end up with syrupy flat water. bastards
is one of my favourite fast-ish food things
i'm getting hungry just thinking about it
came with regular mushrooms and when asked for a proper one, the kitchen staff didnt even know what a portabello mushroom was.
but a portabellos a portabello. chestnut, shiitake maybe, but not closed cup, that was just an insult
I've genuinely had better times with a reduced packet of 6 drumsticks from the co-op
are we talking about the whole 'Nandos Experience', or just the food? Personally I think the food is pretty good, but the process of dining there is not particularly pleasant. It's always a bit grubby, both in cleanliness and in clientele.
Still, it kicks the shit out of Pizza Hut, where not even the food is good.
Pizza Express is my favourite low-mid priced eatery, by far.
Yet to sample Wagamamamamamas though, which comes recommended.
I think it's alright, but I'd never go there if I didn't have some kind of 2-for-1 or Burger'n'fries for a 5er type deal.
i think the current one is for burger and fries for about £6
the voucher thing means its always pretty cheap and the portions are massive and its alllll good. especially the milkshakes.
Handmade Burger Co.
Cocktail happy hour excluded, its all hogwash
though they are opening one in aberdeen so we are now on the map
Stuff's served lukewarm and dried out. The decor is shit, their wine (if you're stupid enough to have it, hi) is shit.
My mum took my sister and I there after a girl's night out at the cinema once. I was horrified with the place. My mum also likes shit food. You should meat her and compare notes on shit foods you like.
a) A Place down the road from me has opened a place called Wagapapa.
b) I like Wagamama, but in Glasgow, Ichinban > Wagamamas.
c) The staff in all the Pizza Huts I've been in lately have been notably curteous. Which is nice.
d) Pizza Hut have started to offer /peas/ as a topping. PEASZZA?
