tell me what YOU want
what you really really want
or let's talk about the Olympus EP-1
dead exciting huh
and I'm getting a new Sofa in 2 or 3 weeks time
even more exciting huh?
but then again, so it should for nigh on £700. I want this, but it's going to go for more than I'm willing to pay for it.
there's a FULLY comprehensive review here
it's such a beautiful thing
That Penticon looks nice too but I have a thing against buying 2nd hand cameras without actually being able to physically and manually check them out
but now I want yours too.
Oh and this
might not be a wise move
that has pieces falling off and broken gears. That way I don't worry about it. It's bloody heavy though. I do need a new one but I might get this in one of the cheaper series.
dont write her off yet
it's quite honestly the shit
it literally does everything (apart from having a super zoom)
but it suffers from the same problem my LX-2 does - the lens might be sharp, but the sensor is grainy as fuck, meaning you have to whack the ISO up way higher than necessary to get printable images.
So I'm chuffed enough, and it'd be greedy to go asking for owt else.
best compact camera range all round it seems
When it comes to the Lumixes/Lumices.
It only arrived yesterday, so I haven't had a chance to have a good go with it yet. Looking forward to seeing what can be done with the suuuuuuuuuuuper zooooooooooooooooooom.
And these, either will do:
I like the first one.
Can I lend £5100?
Swap you for my cats...
I ended up trawling through all the Joseph Joseph stuff - they seem to predominantly make chopping boards. I wouldn't like the measurer as I like making too much spaghetti because I'm a greedy bastard.
I was linked to a site from the US and was debating whether the shipping charge was worth it.
but near the top of the list is:
a Large Diaphragm Condenser Mic (probably a Rode)
some new clothes and shoes
some computer related stuff
and maybe some other miscellaneous stuff
oh, and a Fender Jaguar (or another Jazzmaster)
i got 2 nt1s there ok i guess, you could probably find one 2nd on ebay for like £40 though
what do you reckon is a good buy for under £200 LDC mics? I've got a shortlist and everything, but I'm having trouble deciding. I was also thinking about the SE 2200a
I'd like a Jaguar HH
or a J5 triple deluxe
please transport my girlfriend right here right now.
Very Gossip Girl
That's more than I've spent on clothes in the whole of the past decade put together.
then i discovered it was a size 14 and felt slightly deflated.
NICE COAT, BTW.
and I really want a Reactable: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0h-RhyopUmc
a korg m50
A 15/17 quad spanner:
two decent AJs
A festool chordless driver:
a graining comb set:
and this tool belt:
preferably with a podger holder.
SIMPLE THINGS IN LIFE AND THAT.
THEY ALIGN STEEL DECK AND MAKE A GREAT NOISE.
ratchet tools 4 lyf
guitar effects pedals:
(first two links are the same pedal)
this coat (i will never be able to afford this, plus i dunno if you can ever justify that sort of money on a coat)
these shoes (again, wayyyyy too expensive)
and the shoes!
it's about £200 inc shipping costs. so good. that will take me up to 4 "distortion" pedals then (boss overdrive, vintage pro co rat and a marshall shredmaster which used to belong to kevin shields!)
i should buy a flight case for all my pedals as well actually, hmm.
the shoes are brilliant, but i might well settle for some paul smith ones which were recommended to me by someone on here a month or so back as they are a bit cheaper and are said to last for aaaaages. not that i'd be out playing football in them, haha.
To see my girlfriend.
To visit my mate in Manchester.
For everything involving the new flat to go as smoothly as possible.
Some Grado headphones.
Some kind of decent hi-fi setup.
Season two of The Sopranos boxset.
That complete boxset of The West Wing thing.
The Fargo hat I tried on in town as a joke but which actually really suited me but didn't buy.
Money to pay for all of this shit with.
some of the stuff people want is expensive!
i want to see my girlfriend (as she's in india so i won't for 5 weeks...)
i want to find some direction for my life that doesn't involved an emptied pint glass
i want a good moustache
and some screen-printing equipment would be nice.
Or preferably for someone to buy me a house wherever I like outright in exchange for a lovely cuddle.
