nothing has beat battlfield yet
You cant win without it. Full Stop.
its mainly played by xbox gamers who dont know better.
that's the problem...counterstrikeused to be good until it became a frag fest.
On hte flipside BF can bea bit too intense like when you join a squad and all the members are a clan made up of REAL SQUADDIES who jsu came back from Iraq or some shit. Bit too..erm real...like if you join one of thesetypes of squad they tell you to stay in one spot for the entire game and pick off the enemy when they come into your area...efficient, at times tense but a bit too 'sticking to the objective'
as in getting paid to play in competitions and shit.
its a fucking scary world. and yeah it is full of gun nuts, that refer to each other by rank on teamspeak and talk about race hate and drugs and things.
but british squaddies were pretty cool on the whole and Germans.
Brit squads are good at behind enemy lines shit as they make sure there is a medic and a support so everyone is kept alive throughout the whole game....I like that feeling of a job well done!
just played with good players. got asked to join a pro team. it was good when i didnt have anything else to do about 3 years ago.
if played with friends or Battle field: Bad company.
L4D is really the only one which has literally been designed so that if you don't offer the bare minimum of teamwork, you and everyone else will die.
The best team games are those which are slightly less stringent, allowing you to do well individually but offering exponential rewards if you do actually communicate, so that a team who are averagely skilled but working together can overcome a bunch of 16 year old tossers with too much time on their hands. TF2 and BF2 are good examples. CS and Halo are not.
when me and my mates played on the lan, we just hid in a cupboard and pointed our guns at the door.
Apparently they're working on ways of stopping the survivors from doing that in the sequel.
But you hatched the plan to hide in a corner and you stuck to it, did you not? If you'd all gone your separate ways at the start of the level, then you would've all been YEAAAAAARKed or cough hack coughed, regardless of how good at shooting you were.
Ive been playing killing floor recently, and thats really good for teamwork. games like bf2 cant be beat though.
no game can beat the bf franchise for teamwork
If only because I really, really hate grenades.
rockets on bf2142 are even worse...
or rdx twats
on L4D as the hordes are random, the music is a give away but there are other things like the special infected that require your teammates to help you with. Even more so on expert which i've only tried on single player, you need other humans to play it.
