England have had an excellent run of form, have a brilliant manager and some world class players to call upon, furthermore there is half a chance the likes of Portugal, France and Argentina wont be lurking in SA next year.. reason for optimism yes, but by the time the first ball is kicked at next years tournament 80% of English football fans (propagated by the predictable hyperbole of the tabloids) will be utterly convinced that their time has come.. this road can only lead to yet another disapointment... Sorry!
