It's do or die for us tonight at Hampden Park. A win will probably give us a shot at the play-offs, a draw very likely won't, and a defeat definitely won't. Craig Gordon is allegedly an injury doubt but I'm confident he'll play. Brown should be fit to play as well but King James McFadden will be sorely missed.
My heart says we'll win, my head says we'll lose. The Dutch will be too strong for us and I really can't see how we can counteract them, we can only hope.
Scotland 2 - 2 The Netherlands.
England will be confirmed as Group Six winners tonight if they can beat Croatia. I can see England winning quite comfortably tonight. This is a must win game for Scotland, Croatia need to be pegged back and kept in sight just incase we sneak a draw or win. C'mon England! C'mon England!
England 3 - 0 Croatia.
Group Three leaders Slovakia visit Northern Ireland tonight in a game the host almost certainly must win. I think (hope) they'll get beaten and Slovakia will reach the World Cup. Imagine that eh? Slovakia back at a World Cup. Well sort of. Good times.
Northern Ireland 1 - 2 Slovakia.
Wales host Russia in a game they don't stand a chance of winning.
Wales 0 - 2 Russia.
There are some other games that are significant to the qualification hopes of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland.
Ireland want Italy to beat Bulgaria. Northern Ireland want Poland and Slovenia to draw. Scotland want every team in position 1 to win and every other team in Europe to self implode. Here's a list of results we want to go in our favour I made earlier:
Malta vs Sweden - home win please!
Hungary vs Portugal - away win please!
Moldova vs Greece - home win please!
Latvia vs Switzerland - away in please!
Northern Ireland vs Slovakia - away win please!
Slovenia vs Poland - draw please!
Bosnia Hertz vs Turkey - away win please!
England vs Croatia - home win please!
Belarus vs Ukraine - home win please!
Serbia vs France - home win please!
Romania vs Austria - home win please!
Italy vs Bulgaria - home win please!
I'm not going to go about the tapping up / illegal approaches of/for kids stuff because it's incredibly boring.
There are some transfer rumours, would you beleive it:
Sunderland want to Neill. I thought he was off to Atletico?
Khizanishvili is off to Boro on loan. They've not chance of going up with him at the back, he's absolutely shite.
Boro also want QPR's Helguson on loan. They must be quite keen on the Championship then.
Cousin has turned down a loan move to Cardiff. Good. He's rubbish anyway and I'm quite fond of wee Cardiff.
Burnley and Hull are both after Zenden. He used to be amazing in Champ.
Hull are also going to sign Glauber who's been released by Citeh. Is he any good?
Turns out all that transfer gossip is also as boring as shite.
There's not a damn thing happening domestically on a safe side of Hadrian's Wall.
Can we get some betting tips for this evenings games please!
