for my internet usage. any advice on how to make it as painless as possible?
You should sweettalk IT dear.
and nope, i was emailing my estate agent via hotmail about getting out of my flat.... also reading the ny times fashion pages. Cant really sweettalk IT as its my boss who monitors it. He printed it all off for me... it's pretty bad.
I'd probably get killed for excessive hotmail use too:S however Jimmy from IT loves me so ITS FINE! This doesn't help you...what did he say to you so far?
And yes I did meet Lu, shes bigger than I thought :D
he just got someone to hand me the letter. Apparently I'm allowed to bring someone in there with me but i don't know who... reckon they'd let my mummy come in with me?
It might scare he bejesus out of him!
and say that you're otherwise good at your job and get the work done.
Get your wang out if you're a boy.
It never fails.
That was pretty much my idea..
I don't know what the 'Top's touring commitments are like at the moment though.
I suppose the hotmail stuff you can legitimately claim you needed to do.
Otherwise just say you've not had any complaints about not getting the job done..
If he's anything about him he'll just back off.
When i was at school in my final two weeks of upper 6th, the administrator walks into my boarding house with about 9 pages of A4. The day before i posted a thread with a speech i had to give that night, as i was nervous and i wanted to see if people thought the dynamics of it were goood etc, even if they didn't understand the context. It just so happens there were a fuck lot of really rude replies etc etc and i got an absolute bollocking from the administrator and my housemaster. Luckily i got away from it without punishment as I was Head of House and i just said 'sorry to have let you down sir, i just wanted the speech to go well etc etc' a few times and then everything was back to normal in a few days!
my internet usage was ridiculously high, but my work was always done on time and done well - this was a major factor. Plus my boss knew I wanted to move departments as my job at the time wasn't challenging me in the slightest.
Basically just be pleasant about it, don't try to deny it (they have the evidence), and don't play it down - treat it as a really serious matter and promise it won't happen again. You could also try saying that you were doing it because you find your job boring and not challenging enough. That's what I did and I got a promotion afterwards!
