can you insure yourself or do you have to be insured on a car that you drive?
then you have 3rd party cover on any car that the owner gives you permission to drive I think.
Check your certificate and will say if you definitely can.
but you are also insured to drive any car but only 3rd party cover, so if you crash into another car it will cover the damage to the other car but not the car you are in. (this is based on what a barman told me once when I had to drive a drunk persons car)
hopefully yours is slow
but the problem comes when you hit a row of nuns at a bus queue. That'll cost ya
Just to hijack this thread, does anyone know if you can just insure a laptop rather than buy full house and contents cover?
My laptop costs more than £1,200 as well
Just for reference like.
Can you insure just a single room?
I'm sure you can get this for students so don't see why not.
so if you get done over, just claim what was yours and screw your housemates.
I reckon you should get the manacles insured separately, they don't come cheap
