Mine: 9/10 mostly good, but brought down by being a little bit ill and having to get up 6.30 this morning. NOW YOU.
Mine was very odd. An ode to the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new one.
8/10. Really enjoyed The Garage club in Highbury on Saturday.
'Seeing' and staying with someone special, Smiths Disco, Chorlton, Fopp DVD bargains, but minus points for a long train journey and someone leaving the back door, side gate, and door into the kitchen gaping open all weekend.
I did. Mmmm
Thought about it... but decided to have a Morrison's cook off instead. I went to Quality Save yesterday to buy some WD40 to lube my friend's locks (ooh!) as a nice gesture...
the shop assistant directed me to something 'similar' in his words; a large can of camping stove butane.
I shan't be going back to that store.
Saw Okkervill River on Friday night and they were OK. Venue was smelling of toilets though.
Went walking with my dad on Saturday in the Yorkshire Dales which was really excellent.
Didn't do much yesterday.
went to newcastle and got blind drunk without even touching gin and tonic amazingly. spent saturday in the Baltic and the centre watching the scotland game, and yesterday in the metrocentre playing beatles rock band
I'm going to cautiously aim at 7/10.
Friday was ok, but I really hate Chelmsford Wetherspoon's and my old friends don't seem as interesting anymore.
Saturday was awesome. From country manor in Horsham to The Goose in Stratford, with the help of my friends Pimms and Jim Beam.
Sunday was therefore awful.
went to the loo and came back to our table and my burger was there waiting for me?
It was hop festival in my home town which equals super awesome fun times :D
got a bike, got drunk, bought arkham asylum, played it, ate some nice food, watched the footie with a couple of beers.
Not necessarily in that order.
District 9, lots of take away food, even more Alpine lager, stupid presents and general funtimes. Makes me hate being at work even more.
Spent yet another weekend in Brighton, went to The Arc/Life on Saturday and danced like a goon all night, went to the beach, watched Karas for the first time (it's amazing). Oh, and me and the guy I've been seeing made it official which has made me immensely happy. Good times.
Being smitten with someone whilst watching Karas is pretty special.
stayed in friday, got waved at on dischat.
worked saturday, then went to a mates 22nd in manchestaawwwwwwwwww
worked sunday and played football at t'soccerdome in the evening, which given the state i was in felt horrendous.
got to see a brilliant fireworks display coming off the castle, choreographed to the Hallelujah Chorus and other nonsense bits of Handel. It was pretty cool.
here's a bit of last years
pretty posh evening
