right, reckon i´ll start with a bit of background. i´ve been travelling for a while now, almost a year and a half. the whole "get a bit of life experience" thing, and i´ve now found myself living in a cave in the south of spain, mostly cos its free. as a general rule i think i have very good taste in music (obviously) but my guilty little secret is that i´m totally in love with The Sounds. now, i´m a bit out of touch with the whole music scene at the moment, as you can imagine, but i just found out that they´ve recently released a new album and are backing it up with a world tour (well, USA and europe) which enters europe on november 17th. i´ve suddenly found myself thinking that i might follow them around europe but there are a few stumbling blocks. well, one, really. that is, i haven´t got much money. not even enough for the tickets to the shows, not to mention travel costs, food etc. now, i´m a pretty experienced hitchhiker and busker so i think it shouldn´t be too much of a problem for me to get to a few gigs, in a few countries but something inside me is telling me to try and get to all of them. two are already sold out, apparently but since none of the other problems associated with this idea seems to be putting me off, why should that?
so, two main questions. am i genuinely insane? should i go for it? would it kill me? so i guess that´s three main questions.
also, i´m using a computer in a library so i´ll only be able to reply for the next half an hour, or on monday. any thoughts?
