there were other criteria as well you know, tgwnun
1982, Janine by the same author (which I'm reading at the moment) covers the first and last in a lot of detail.
Porn AND sex, you say?
Though the two things don't overlap in the novel as much as you might expect
Well pornographic. It's brilliant. Not quite as good as Lanark but still. Also read poor things for some ...Confessions of a justified sinner unreliable narration awesomeness.
I've only read Lanark and Poor Things of his.
"The End of Communist Power: Anti-Corruption Campaigns and Legitimation Crisis" by Leslie Holmes is about all these things. Hit that shit, blud.
covers all of these in varying degrees. Check it out.
thanks. Read a lot of Ballard lately, may as well read some more.
Either Highrise or Concrete Island are next on my list. You read either of them?
DW was especially good I thought, apart from one tiny bit. Been meaning to read High Rise for a while now too.

Teenage obsession with that book
Best book ever written.
bit rude, like
"reccomend me some good Films and Books"
would've been shorter.
by Anthony Burgess, but reading the plot summary on Wikipedia, I can barely remember any of it! I'm sure it's good though.
I'd have gone for Threads, or Brazil (had I not seen them already), or something like that. You got owt else?
I'll also suggest Margaret Atwood's Handmaid's Tale and also Oryx and Crake.
Sorry. Good suggestions though. Isn't the new Margaret Atwood the follow-up to Oryx and Crake?
you may have just written the blurb for A Clockwork Orange.
