Which of these is most acceptable
a) eating a sandwich/orange/crisps at your desk
b) eating them in the fire escape stairwell sitting on a step
c) eating them outside the office blocking a very narrow pavement considering the high volume of tourists going past at lunchtime (imagine if everyone who eats at their desk did that?
d) Everyone who eats at their desk eats in the canteen meaning that diners with trays of food with gravy and custard have to stand waiting till there is an available space at a table?
e) go futher away occupy an available bench along the river/ in the park thus depriving day tourists the opportunity of somewhere to sit down whilst they eat their sandwiches/packed lunch, or depriving someone whos trudged round york all morning the opportunity to rest their weary feet, by being further away means that you are unavailable for contacting for longer (when someone might have a query that needs answering before they can continue with their work)?
Seriously cant you see that alongside these eating at your desk is minimally inconsiderate......actually you never explained who it is inconsiderate to.....who is it inconsiderate too?
