What are you reading?

alley [Edit] [Delete] 09:24, 25 August '09

I'm on The General in His Labyrinth by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, which I've found a bit boring thus far, but I've only read about 20 pages in an ill mood on the train, sooo. Also Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Notes From Underground, which I haven't attended to at all. Also Huck Finn again.

One book I've read since the last time we had this thread and wanted to mention is Chronicle of a Death Foretold, also by Marquez. It's kind of amazing. By the end of it, and not fully a moment before then, I felt as bewildered as any of the villagers (despite having just had it all laid out in front of me), as if I'd actually been there, too.
