it felt AMAZING!
but was too embarrassed to say I made a mistake..
felt like a lead coat from that day on
I spent most days playing football in it though, so it's probably just as well. £115 for a pair of trainers? Jeeeeeeeeeez. Although I imagine that Tristan spends a fair bit of time looking down at his feet, so maybe worth splashing the extra cash on something that looks nice.
What is wrong with my reading today? I don't know.
but look what yr wearing in yr profile pic :D
Or the smoking hot chick just out of shot?! :D
but it's a BORING hoodie
they didn't have them in my size in charcoal sadly, and cream would just have been wrong
win win win!
Nah, of course I didn't. It's cool though right?
i want some pinstripe trousers
plain black. The jacket's alright but the the trousers are mainly holes now. I wouldn't recommend the investment. In fact they may have been thrown in the bin a long time ago anyway.
I might don my pinstriped trousers tomorrow...don't know what with.
my first day of uni i jsut moved to london and only i could only pull out those trousers and a check shirt.
I photo of me was posted on the student mag as the the most disastrous fashion statment
second best item of clothing i own, after my five euro pair of jeans. third best of we're includng those 3 builders tees i got for 2 euro. theyre a little baggy, but i like that
in summary, I WOULD FUCKING KILL FOR THAT MONEY TO WASTE
as my friend put it "you do realise that's not actually YOUR money?"
You were saying? ;)
i now understand sex & the city.
...'we work hard and we play hard ZAAAAAAAAP'
i do hope someone gets that reference.
I have to agree with KiK something very come ci come ca about the trousers
Can I interest you in this luxury beanbag? Special offer price, £4,000 o.n.o.

aha i know it's pritt dear but i only buy stuff this bad like a couple times a year cos its just soo damm bomb
It's probably the most hideous jumper I've ever seen. Fucking serious kudos if you can look in the mirror and be genuinely happy to have spent £235 on that!
I know its sort of gross, but I find it oddly appealing. Wouldn't spent that much on it personally.
just looking through the new collection - really like these -> http://www.hervia.com/AW09-Vivienne-Westwood-Shoes-Ladies-Shoes/c18_168/p3722/Bondage-Boots-Yellow-Canvas/product_info.html
spend the serious money on shirts
The most I've spent on an item of clothing with £40. And I felt guilty even when I did...
my point is safe.
What's the most you've ever spent on an item of clothing? Shirley this spending a hundred quid on trousers is just ludacris!
I once spent £55 on a Blind skate hoody when I was about 16, wore it until it fell apart, now you!
£350 on a coat a few years ago.
In fairness it was knee-length cashmere with a big collar and I was about to start a job that would involve LONG trips home via several nightbuses, several times a week. I'm not sorry. I still have the coat, though by now it needs relining.
I would spend £100 on a good pair of trousers, but you don't need to. If you really want clothes that are more high-end, sample sales are full of win. Got some black Alexander McQueen trousers at one recently. They were £60 in the sample sale [no idea what their retail price was], and very plain. Just perfect black trousers that sit beautifully and don't crease annoyingly or behave weirdly at the waistband or any of the stuff you often get with cheaper trousers.
And as below I will happily spend £120-ish on shoes, if they are good. Kurt Geiger FTW.
The 11 pound jeans i got from primark a year ago are the comfiest things ever and still look tight
I stole one from a tosser in a London bar earlier this year...
speding a large sum of money on. You wear them literally every day through winter and it's the difference between looking like you've made an effort or not.
I always thought everything in a sample sale would be a size 6, I'm being daft aren't I?
on a new pair of girls brogues when i get paid on friday. Sometimes it can be good to spend a lot on something but wear it all the time - you have to really know what you want to avoid wasting money though. And be disciplined about getting things fixed so they last for years.
A good pair of English brogues worn sparingly and, as you mention, well maintained can last you a decade.
Just bought these:
but its not a trend thing for me - although long live the trend if it means shops keep producing them. I need a smart pair of flats and they're miles better than any flimsy ballet pumps or silly strappy things.
