There aren't many more enjoyable films than that.
Brad Pitt amazing. Very good film.
Empire can't be trusted. And neither can these up here.
personally I dont believe that to be entirely true.
with half the audience loving it, and the the other half outraged by the ending.
I saw it last night and really liked it. It's suprisingly funny and tense - two things that seem like strange bedfellows.
it was brilliant and a lot different from what i was expecting.
The cinema was done up in full Nazi regalia though (i'm guessing so it looked like the one in the film) which I didn't think was in the best taste...
and i fucking loved it.
It was like a spaghetti western crossed with the dirty dozen and whats not to love about that?!
Really enjoyed Brad Pitt chewing up his dialogue and thought the opening scene was great, the jew hunter guy is a real cunt!
Over the top, violent, funny, sharp and massively entertaining.
Hats off Quentin.
You're right, the guy who played Hans Lander was brilliant.
I thought it was brilliant, and a lot better than I thought it would be from the adverts.
Menacing yet charming villainy is a hard thing to pull off.
Much better than it looked in the adverts.
Hans Lander yeah, what a dick but brilliantly played by the actor (canny rememeber his name).
Read an interwview with Tarantino saying that if he hadn't found Waltz then the film might not have been made as he needed someone who could speak Germna, French, Itailian and English and sound/act convincing whilst talking in all these different languages.
Apparently Leonardo DiCaprio was originally linked with the role :s
He was just brilliant though, how he made such a horrible, awful character so funny and dare I say, almost likeable? Genius.
Didn't realise he won the best actor at Cannes for the role either.
Loved his pipe :)
He's evidently a pretty smart man. I'll try and find it
Like that 'There's no business like Shoah business' :)
