Sure the Gameboy and Game Gear seemed ok when I was 9, but really the concept is never going to fully take off is it?

I see the odd person on the tube playing a DS, but why lag around a cut down PS2 in your bag and look stupid in front of the general public? Playing games is far more fun at home, on a big screen, with friends.

The iPhone has the odd good puzzle game and retro port, but is still a way off a fully fledged standout title. And now Sony is releasing the PSPGo to compete with it, at a 'mere' £250:
