(please, no spoilers post season 3)

i mean....the first two series were good

had some top moments, real strong episodes along the way

but it didn't feel that special or amazing

but then.....the last three episodes of series three, starting with paulie and christopher's jaunt in the woods, started to make me see why it's so highly regarded....and then this leap in quaity has continued into the first three episodes of series four.

so is this the story.....y'know how every programme has it's best seasons.....are the first two seen as the weak links?
